Zimbabwe has unveiled a project aimed at including youths in the mainstream export sector by providing financial help, skills training, and technical expertise.
The project which was launched in Harare over the weekend seeks to empower young people on foreign currency generation projects.
Speaking at the unveiling of the programme, The Minister of Industry and Commerce Dr Sekai Nzenza said youths play a critical role in a country’s economic development.
“We appreciate such programmes and it is our view that they can yield the desired policies,” said Minister Nzenza.
ZimTrade chief executive officer Mr Allan Majuru encouraged the youth to take advantage of export incentives if they are to grow their business
