Russia praises Zim’s non-interference policy

RUSSIA has praised Zimbabwe for its principled stance of non-interference in the internal affairs of sovereign states.

This Monday, Russian Ambassador to Zimbabwe His Excellency Nikolai Krasilnikov paid a courtesy call on Foreign Affairs and International Trade Minister, Ambassador Frederick Shava where the two deliberated on various bilateral issues.

Emerging from a closed-door meeting, Russia’s top envoy commended Zimbabwe for being a principled nation which does not interfere in the affairs of sovereign states.

He also expressed gratitude to Zimbabwe for supporting its special military operation in Ukraine.

This Monday, Russia’s Defence Ministry revealed that the country will open the Mariupol Humanitarian Corridor and suspend hostilities to allow civilians who may still be trapped at the Azov Steel Complex to exit the combat zone.
