Zimbabwe in top 24 must-visit destinations for 2020

LEADING global business and financial media group, Bloomberg, has listed Zimbabwe among top 24 destinations to visit in 2020 in yet another endorsement of the country as a safe, attractive and hospitable destination.
Blessed with irresistible tourist attractions which include the majestic Victoria Falls and the Great Zimbabwe monuments, the country continues to receive positive reviews and endorsements from reputable international media organisations.
Zimbabwe is among the 24 must-visit destinations, according to the recent Bloomberg list of enticing spots for 2020.
Employers’ Association for Tourism and Safari Operators president, Clement Mukwasi and Hospitality Association of Zimbabwe Vice president Farai Chimba have welcomed the endorsement which they say will go a long way in marketing the destination.
“This is a welcome development and a positive start to the New Year for us as an industry,” Mukwasi said.
“It is a recognition for the country’s efforts in making the destination more attractive and yes indeed we are an attractive global destination,” said Chimba.
According to Bloomberg, Zimbabwe’s abundant wildlife, qualified guides and the new political administration makes it one of the must-visit destinations.
Other three African destinations on the list include Cairo, Ethiopia and Mozambique.
