The Zimbabwe Liberation War Collaborators Association (ZILIWACO) has embarked on a mass mobilisation drive to ensure President Emmerson Mnangagwa amasses five million votes in the 2023 harmonised elections.

The association was in Bulawayo this Friday as it embarks on 2023 mass mobilisation programme which will take the organisation to all corners of the country.

ZILIWACO Vice Chairperson Cde Josephine Gandiya says they have a mandate to ensure ZANU-PF wins the March 26 by-elections and gets two thirds majority in parliament in the upcoming 2023 general elections.

“We have already started campaigning for the President for the 2023 harmonised elections. We have to start mass mobilisation now as ZILIWACO so that ZANU-PF wins the elections. No one will ever understand the war like people who fought for this country. Our aims and aspirations can only be fulfilled by ZANU-PF,” she said.

Various organs of the ruling party have intensified their mobilisation drive, targeting 5 million votes in the 2023 elections, as the people’s party seeks to drive the nation towards an upper middle-income society by 2030.
