THE Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) will next week launch its first ever youth-centred music channel, Jive TV, at the ZITF, as it maximises on the exposure that the country’s biggest trade showcase offers.
Exhibiting under the theme: “Broadcasting re-imagined” the national broadcaster, ZBC, says all is in place for the launch of its music-centred youth channel, Jive TV, at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF).
“Every business investor comes here, so definitely we are leveraging on ZITF. We will be launching jive TV on Wednesday on the 27th of April,” said Rumbidzai Moyo, ZBC Acting Director Human Resources and Corporate Affairs.
The launch of a vibrant youth-centred TV channel is one of the many ways in which ZBC is making a statement on its drive to transform its content and viewership.
“Our exhibition is running under the theme “Broadcasting re-imagined” we want to show the whole world how ZBC has re-imagined broadcasting and Jive TV is just one of the many ways that we are transforming our content and making sure that we offer several channel viewing options to our viewers. We are really excited, we want everyone who is coming to ZITF to know that ZITF is meeting Jive TV,” she added.
Jive TV Channel will be available on digital platforms and on digital terrestrial television (DTT) to ensure it captures its target audience.
