The ZANU PF Youth League says it will focus on productivity and mobilisation in line with President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s call to make 2022 a year of growth.

The youth league’s acting Deputy Secretary, Tendai Chirau said this while addressing the media during the first session of the 2022 ZANU PF Youth League National Executive meeting at the party’s headquarters in Harare.

“His Excellency, President Emmerson Mnangagwa earlier this year mentioned that 2022 is the year of growth. So, as the youth league this year we are going to focus on productivity and mobilisation,” he said.

The youth league has also endorsed President Mnangagwa as the party’s sole candidate for the 2023 harmonised elections.

“You are aware that as a party we have agreed that in 2023 our sole Presidential candidate is His Excellency, President Emmerson Mnangagwa,” added Cde Chirau.

Cde Chirau also congratulated all the youth league members who recently contested for the main wing and women’s league positions.
