ZANU PF Youth Conference begins this Wednesday

YOUTH leaders from Burundi and Tanzania have arrived in Zimbabwe to attend the ZANU PF Youth League Conference which begins this Wednesday.

The ZANU PF Youth Wing will from this Wednesday host their National Elective Conference, with over 2 000 delegates expected to attend.

Youth leaders from fellow liberation movements in Africa, including Tanzania and Burundi, have arrived in the country to attend the conference which will see the election of a substantive Deputy Secretary for Youth Affairs and other office bearers.

Messers Landry Nzokira of the CNDD-FDD party in Burundi and Kenan Kihongosi of Chama Cha Mapinduzi party in Tanzania who spoke to ZBC news upon arrival at the Robert Mugabe International Airport said they are in Zimbabwe to share ideas with their Zanu PF counterparts.

“It’s an honor and pleasure for us to be here. It’s always great to be here. We need to fight for economic freedom as youths,“ said Nzokira.

“We are happy to be here where we share new ideas that’s we can use in our parties as well,“ added Chama.

The conference is expected to foster intra-party unity and steer growth of the party.
