Watch: Zimbabwe has the expertise to complete the major projects-Min Matiza

GOVERNMENT says its decision to engage reputable private contractors for major road rehabilitation projects seeks to enhance accountability in the sector, with a target to complete among other major projects the Chirundu-Beitbridge Highway by 2023.
Transport and Infrastructural Development Minister engineer Joel Biggie Matiza says Government’s decision to look inward for resource mobilisation to rehabilitate roads has proved to be a success.
In an interview, Cde Matiza said Zimbabwe has the expertise to complete the major projects, hence the decision to rope in local private contractors for the projects.
