THE Zimbabwe national senior men’s football team, the Warriors are now in the Cameroonian city of Bafoussam where they will play two of their group B games of the African Cup of Nations that kick off on Sunday.

The Warriors are expected to train once before their opening fixture against giants, Senegal on Monday.

The arrival of captain Knowledge Musona and striker Admiral Muskwe this Wednesday has boosted morale in the Warriors camp, with only Jordan Zemura now outstanding.

The England based player is self-isolating after a COVID-19 outbreak at his club, Bournemouth.

Zimbabwe faces Senegal on Monday before taking on Malawi on the 14th of January.

Their last group match is pencilled for Yaoundé against Guinea on the 18th of January.

The expansion of the AFCON tournament to have 24 teams means that 16 teams will progress to the knock out stages, with four best third-placed teams set to qualify.
