The Zimbabwe senior men national football team, the Warriors have dropped four places on the latest World FIFA Rankings released this Thursday.

The Zimbabwe Warriors have dropped to position 112, four places down from their previous position while Senegal who are on position 20 on the globe continue to top the African rankings.

Tunisia are second on the continent, followed by Algeria, Morocco and Nigeria to complete the top five in Africa.

The Warriors were involved in the African Nations Championship (CHAN) campaign in January but failed to get a single point after losing all their three group matches.

They suffered a 1-0 defeat in the opening match against hosts Cameroon, lost 3-1 to Burkina Faso before another 1-0 loss to Mali.

The Warriors and Uganda were the biggest droppers on the first FIFA Rankings while 2021 CHAN champions, Morocco moved one place up on the African list.

Zimbabwe will return to action next month in Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, playing away to Botswana before hosting Zambia in Harare a few days later.

Belgium continue to top the world rankings while France are second, followed by Brazil, England and Portugal.
