ZANU PF Second Secretary Cde Kembo Mohadi concluded his engagements with party structures and the traditional leadership in Masvingo Province this Tuesday, with calls for unity in implementing developmental projects.
Zanu PF Second Secretary Cde Kembo Mohadi, who spoke to ZBC News in Chivi this Tuesday at the conclusion of his engagements in the province, emphasised that the exercise was meant to confirm the role of traditional leaders in community development.
“I took advantage of the meetings to engage our local political leadership at grassroots level to see whether the two authorities can find each other in spearheading development. We appraised each other of the various projects government is undertaking at the Grand National level down to the district level where I implored grassroot leadership to work together for the common good of our people. I engaged grassroot leadership on the four rituals of leadership. That is a leader must live with people, listen to the people, learn from the people and love the people,” said Cde Mohadi.
The programme which started in Matabeleland South Province will take Cde Mohadi to all the country’s 10 provinces.
