UFIC donates to Angel of Hope Foundation

THE First Lady Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa has commended charity organisations who are partnering with Angel of hope foundation in feeding vulnerable families around the country.
The charity arm of the United Family International Church (UFIC) Agape family care founded by Mrs Ruth Makandiwa has donated over 120 tonnes of food stuffs to the first lady Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa’s angel of hope foundation.
The donation was handed over by Agape family care board member Pastor Prime Kufa.
“We are very grateful for the work being done by the first lady, that is why we have brought these foodstuffs because Amai knows the areas in need of these as she has been going around the country assisting the needy. Mama Ruth Makandiwa is always happy to lend a hand,” he said.
In a speech read on her behalf by Angel of Hope board member, Mrs Rachael Nield-Geranios the first lady Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa said her foundation appreciates the donation from Agape family care.
“We are really grateful to mama Makandiwa and agape family care for partnering with Angel of hope. This gift of foodstuffs from Agape comes at the right time as our people need food especially at this time of Covid 19,” she said.
Some of the donated foodstuffs include 100 tonnes of maize meal, 5 tonnes sugar beans, 5 tonnes sugar and 5 thousand bars of laundry soap.
