Terrence Dzvukamanja on target in South Africa

ZIMBABWEAN international, Terrence Dzvukamanja was the star of the show as football action resumed in South Africa with the Nedbank Cup yesterday.
It was a roller coaster ride for Zimbabwean international Terrence Dzvukamanja who produced one of the best individual performances by a foreign player in the South African top flight league but still ended on the losing side.
With his Bidvest Wits side trailing one-nil to Mamelodi Sundowns, the former Ngezi Platinum forward levelled matters on the 76th minute.
It did not last long though as the Brazilians made it 2-1 a few minutes later but Dzvukamanja was not yet done as he raced halfway through the pitch before slotting his second of the day, 4 minutes from time.
His efforts were, however, not enough to see his side through to the finals of the Nedbank Cup as the Brazilians had the last laugh after scoring from a free-kick in added time to make it through to their second cup final of the season.
In another Nedbank semi-final encounter played earlier in the day, Warriors goalkeeper, Elvis Chipezeze’s Baroka fell 3-0 to Bloemfontein Celtic.
Chipezeze was found wanting when he brought down Ndumiso Mabena in the area, which resulted in the referee pointing to the spot.
