The Zanu PF conference coordinating committee has expressed satisfaction with preparations for the 19th National People’s Conference slated for Bindura in October.

The technical committee led by Zanu PF Director for Administration Cde Dickson Dzora inspected the venues for the annual national people’s conference.

“As a party which is people centred with people centre red policies, we need now to take stalk of promises made in 2018 and the resolutions which were made in Esigodini, in Goromonzi and the economic transformation programme and se were we are with state of the party and then now address state of the economy,” said Cde Dzora.

In line with the virtual format of the conference, only politburo and central committee members as well as supporting staff will be housed at the main venue, while provincial delegates will be at separate venues across the country.

Said Cde Kazembe: “I’m glad that the technical team is happy with the preparations that we’ve done so far and also, we got a report from the working committee on resource mobilisation especially on food and stuff that are required and I’m happy to say that those who pledged are honouring their pledges.”

With the Second Republic prioritising development, the economy will take centre stage at the conference which will review the Transitional Stabilisation Programme, and the five-year National Development Strategy One blueprint, among other developments.
