ZIMBABWEAN teenage sensation, Tawanda Maswanhise continues to make headlines after featuring in English Premier League side, Leicester City’s pre-season friendly match against Wycombe Wanderers on Wednesday.
Fresh from a man of the match performance against Burton Albion, Zimbabwean teenager Tawanda Maswanhise once again put his hand up for the reckoning when the season starts after another accomplished display for Leicester City.
The 18-year-old winger was named in the starting eleven for the Foxe in their 1-0 loss to Wycombe Wanderers in a pre-season friendly match this Wednesday.
Maswanhise, who is among the four academy players who were promoted to the senior team was a constant threat on the right wing and if he keeps his form, he looks set to play Premier League football this season.
Just like the previous encounter, he seems to have struck a good combination with the experienced James Madison and that can only be a good sign for the Warriors prospect.
Meanwhile, Warriors defender, Jordan Zemura featured in the second half for Bournemouth as they lost 2-1 to Chelsea.
The Bournemouth boss, Scott Parker threw Zemura into the fray in the last 30 minutes and he did not disappoint.
Elsewhere, Warriors and Hamilton Academical striker, David Moyo played 60 minutes as the Accies drew 2-all with St Mirren in a preseason friendly as they prepare for life in the Scottish second division.
In Saudi Arabia, Warriors captain, Knowledge Musona will wear the number 11 shirt at his new club, Al Tai.
Meanwhile, CAPS United forward, Ishmael Wadi has joined the great trek to South Africa after signing for National First Division side, JDS stars.
Wadi was one of the top performers in the Chibuku Super Cup where he scored 4 goals before football was put on hold due to an upsurge in Covid-19 cases.
