AMBITIOUS Premier Soccer league side Herentals are set to host new boys Bikita Minerals in a rescheduled Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match set for Rufaro Stadium this Saturday.
Herentals, who are ninth on the league table with 18 points, will be hoping to continue with their recent good form, after going on a five-match unbeaten run with three wins and two draws.
Their opponents, Bikita Minerals, have been inconsistent, with one victory, two losses, and two draws in their last five matches.
The new boys, who are a point behind Herentals in eleventh place, will be eager to cause an upset and climb up the table.
The match was initially scheduled for the opening day of the season, but it was delayed due to a dispute between Lithium Boys and Tenax over promotion from the Eastern Region Division One league.
Bikita Minerals had a good start to the season but they seem to be losing steam after the departure of head coach Saul Chaminuka who is now with Green Fuel.
Meanwhile, the Premier Soccer League will take a break to accommodate the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers and the COSAFA tournament.
The league will resume on the 22nd of June.
