Streak resigns from Heath Streak academy

DISGRACED former Zimbabwe national cricket team captain and coach, Heath Streak has resigned from the Heath Streak academy after the cricket legend was banned from all forms of cricket for eight years.
The latest development was announced at a news conference held at the Academy which will now be named the Zimbabwe Youth Cricket academy trust.
The academy’s Chief Executive Officer, Joseph Rego has been named the new board chair.
Streak was this week banned from all forms of cricket for eight years by the International Cricket Council after he was found guilty of breaching the International Cricket Council -ICC anti-corruption code.
The academy which has been spearheading cricket development in Matabeleland was launched three years ago.
