The accident happened at the 209 kilometre peg at Truckers-in just outside Kwekwe this afternoon and Zimbabwe National Police Spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi has confirmed the accident.
Assistant Commissioner Nyathi said one person who was critically injured has been transferred to Gweru General Hospital.
“Its really sad that we have seven people who died this afternoon when a Honda Fit and a Zupco bus had a collision at the 209 kilometre peg along the Harare Bulawayo Road near Gokwe turn off at the Truckers Inn in Kwekwe,” he said.
