The suspected leader of a gang that carried out a spate of robberies in Harare, Godfrey Josi will stand trial on the 9th of next month.
The suspected serial robber who is facing more than 25 counts of robbery is set to commence on December 9.
Godfrey Josi is facing more than 25 counts of armed robbery, kidnapping and unlawful possession of firearms.
Meanwhile, suspected serial rapist and convicted prison escapee Sam Muropa’s trial are yet to take off with the accused still to go for mental examination.
Harare magistrate Dennis Mangosi ordered Muropa to undergo a mental examination after he exhibited traits of mental illness.
Muropa is facing more than 23 counts of rape and robbery.
