Golfer Scott ‘Mhondoro’ Vincent ends his Olympics campaign as the highest ranked African.
Vincent was tied 16th out of the 60 golfers that were competing in Tokyo and had it not been for a slow start in round one where he short two over par he could have challenged for a medal.
Mhondoro was the country’s last athlete at the Tokyo Olympic Games after Sprinter Ngoni Makusha failed to make it to the 100m semi finals that are on today.
Zimbabwe failed to get a single medal at the Olympics and now need to prepare for the next games in Paris 2024.
