SABA launches current affairs radio programme

The Southern African Broadcasting Association (SABA) has launched a current affairs radio programme that will be broadcast in various SADC countries every Thursday.

SADC 360 was launched in Maseru, Lesotho this Friday, with officials from SADC countries’ national broadcasters that are part of the Southern African Broadcasting Association (SABA).

SABA president Stanley Similo, who is also the Director General of the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation, said the programme will be produced through contributions from SADC member states.

In his keynote address, Lesotho’s Minister of Communications Science and Technology, Mr Tsoinyane Rapapa is convinced that the launch of 360 radio will enhance communication among SADC countries.

ZBC was represented at the launch ceremony by its Chief Executive Officer, Ms Adelaide Chikunguru.
