Earlier, Gauteng Premier David Makhura called on the police to hunt down the suspects involved in the tavern shooting in Orlando East, Soweto.

It has also emerged that two more people have been shot and killed in a separate incident at a tavern in Katlehong, Ekurhuleni.

Condemning the incident, Makhura said that the South African Police must hunt down the perpetrators of this heinous crime and that they must be strengthened in-order to deal the crime.

Fifteen people were killed in a Soweto tavern while four people were killed under similar circumstances in Pietermaritzburg this Sunday.
