ZIMBABWEAN Rower, Peter Purcel-Glipin has made it to the quarter-finals of the single men sculls at the Tokyo Olympics.
In the 2020 Tokyo Olympics men’s single sculls, Peter Purcell-Gilpin comfortably made it to the quarterfinals in a time of 7 minutes 35 seconds and 16 milliseconds in his Repechage third race.
Ahead of the quarter-finals are set for this Sunday afternoon at 14:00 hrs Central African Time, Peter is optimistic of raising the flag high.
The Zimbabwean rower fought to progress to the quarter-finals as he targeted to finish first or second after finishing fourth in his third heat.
In swimming, Donata Katai will toss up to the Women’s 100 metres backstroke this Sunday.
