HARARE giants, Dynamos confirmed their title credentials after maintaining pressure on Log leaders Chicken Inn with an emphatic victory over City rivals Caps United at the National Sports Stadium Sunday afternoon.

Dynamos made a huge statement of intent after ending the first half of the season in the best possible way.

An emphatic 3-0 win over City rivals CAPS United saw the Glamour Boys moving back to second on the castle lager premier soccer league table with 34 points, just a point behind log leaders Chicken Inn while also creating breathing space between them and third placed FC Platinum.

The 3-0 winning margin is also Dynamos’ biggest win of the season and the fact that it came against one of their biggest rivals confirmed their title credentials.

It is therefore no surprise that Head coach, Tonderai Ndiraya is satisfied with the team’s performance in the first half of the season.

“I am happy with performance of the team over the course of this campaign, we have managed to overcome all odds and we have given all the teams a run for thier money, looking at the second half we hope to come back better as we challenge for the league,” said Tonderai Ndiraya, Dynamos coach.
Chicken Inn cling on to pole position after a narrow one – nil win over Triangle, their tenth of the campaign as they chase the league title they last won in 2015.

The bottom four remains unchanged with Whawha still anchoring the log table despite a surprise one-nil win over Ngezi Platinum Stars.

Bulawayo City, Cranborne Bullets and ZPC Kariba all failed to win thus maintaining their positions in the bottom four.
