PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa and his Zambian counterpart, President Hakainde Hichilema have met on the sidelines of the SADC 42nd Ordinary Summit of Heads State currently underway in Kinshasa.
The two leaders discussed, among other issues, the setting up of the Batoka Hydro Power project on the Zambezi River.
The project is expected to increase power provision for mother countries and significantly change the economic fortunes of both countries.
The leaders also discussed the significance of revamping the railway systems in Zambia, Zimbabwe, the DRC and South Africa.
