Four people died while eight others were injured after a commuter omnibus veered off the road along Mutare-Vumba road this Wednesday.
The commuter omnibus which was allegedly speeding landed on a CMED precast wall, killing two people on the spot, while two others died upon admission at Victoria Chitepo Provincial Hospital.
Senior Nurse at the hospital Beulah Gudyanga revealed that four people are still admitted at the provincial hospital, one at Murambi hospital, while three others have been discharged.
Zimbabwe Republic Police Spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the accident saying investigations are underway to ascertain the cause of the fatal mishap.
