Fifth-placed Ngezi Platinum Stars, who host log leaders Chicken Inn at Baobab Stadium this Saturday, have confirmed that interim coach Takesure Chiragwi is still in charge of the ambitious club as they search for a substantive gaffer.
The Mhondoro-based side appointed Chiragwi as interim coach following the resignation of Rodwell Dhlakama, who was initially sent on leave after internal disputes.
With reports circulating that Ngezi Platinum have settled for former national team captain Benjani Mwaruwari as their new head coach, the 2021 Chibuku Super Cup runners up cleared the air in a statement sent to the ZBC News.
In the statement, Ngezi Platinum highlighted that they are still searching for a substantive coach, with an announcement set to be made when the process is complete.

Other matches will see ZPC Kariba taking on Tenax, Herentals square off with Caps United, Black Rhinos clash with Bulawayo Chiefs, while Bulawayo City play Triangle.
