“We also talked about a lot of achievements that we made since I have been here where I have spent two years and a few months.
“For example during my term here, we had some high-level visits from the defense section and at the moment, the section is out of Zimbabwe after having moved some years ago but right now they are coming to Zimbabwe anytime from now.”
The Nigerian Ambassador also said an agreement is soon to be signed by the two countries to bring technical aid corps into Zimbabwe. She also highlighted that part of her discussion with the Acting President involved bringing back the joint commissions between the two countries with hopes that her successor will take the matter to a higher level as both countries were eager to bring them back.
“We are into bringing a technical aid corp into Zimbabwe and this has reached a very top level and very soon the agreement will be signed and they will be here.”
The technical aid corp is a Nigerian federal government agency responsible for the sharing of Nigeria’s know-how and expertise with other African, Caribbean and Pacific countries (ACP).
