Nicholas Zakaria has a 29th album up his sleeve

THE Godfather of Sungura music and Khiama Boys front man, Nicholas Zakaria is back in the studio to record his 29th album.

Veteran musician, Madzibaba Nicholas Zakaria who turns 66 on the 9th of April is working on his 29th album which will be released on his birthday.
Like most artistes, the musician affectionately known as Senior Lecturer was not spared from the hardships of COVID-19.

“I feel free because we stayed a long time not going to work and staying in homes so it set back a lot of areas and if it keeps on like this we can cover several gaps. Right now I’m preparing my album dubbed Usabvunda and I should release it on the 9th of April,” said Zakaria.

As if to prove that he still has what it takes to compete with the best, the Khiama boys front man dished out his best when he performed at Mzansi in Mvurwi at the weekend.
His forthcoming five track album will have songs like Pedyo naMwari, Pana Baba and Usavhunduke, which is the title track of the album.
