National Culture Month launch postponed

THE National Culture Month Launch, which was scheduled for Saturday 21 May  2022 at  Chief Nechombo’s Homestead in Makaha, Mutoko District in Mashonaland East has been postponed.

In a statement, National Arts Council of Zimbabwe Executive Director, Mr Nicholas Moyo said a new date for the event will be announced in due course.

“The National Arts Council of Zimbabwe and the Ministry of Youth Sport Arts and Recreation would like to advise stakeholders, invited guests and the nation at large that the National Culture Month Launch which was scheduled for Chief Makah Mutoko District in Mashonaland East tomorrow Saturday 21 May 2022 has been postponed. A new date for the event will be announced,” he said.

He also said that other scheduled Culture Month events will go ahead as planned in all provinces.

“Meanwhile, other scheduled Culture Month Events will go ahead as planned in the districts and all the provinces. NACZ is pleased by the community participation in the inaugural Culture Month Activities,” he added.
