CHAPUNGU’s Natasha Ndowa is the talk of the Women Super League with the prolific striker topping the goal scorers’ chart with 18 goals in ten matches.
Despite losing 1-0 to defending champions Black Rhinos at the weekend, Chapungu Queens have been the most prolific team in the league with striker Natasha Ndowa leading the goal scorer’s chart with 18 goals followed by Ethel Chinyerere with 12 goals.
Third-positioned former Mighty Warriors star Erina Jeke has scored 10 goals for Correctional Queens, while Chapungu’s Vimbai Mharadzi and Dorothy Nyoni have 9 goals each to complete the top 5.
Chapungu are still at the top of the log table with 24 points courtesy of a superior goal difference to second placed Black Rhinos who have played two games less.
Herentals are third with 22 points followed by Correctional Queens who have 15 points.
Black Mambas shared the spoils with MSU Queens in a goal-less draw which left them in fifth position with 14 points, followed by the duo of Harare City and Faith Drive Academy with 12 points apiece while Conduit Academy complete the top eight with 10 points.
Yadah Queens who thrashed Chipembere Queens 7-1 at Yadah grounds are ninth with 9 points, while MSU Queens are tenth with 7.
The bottom four consists of Scorpion Queens with six points, Borrow Jets and Chipembere Queens who have 3 points each and bottom placed Mutare City Rovers with just a point.
