Belgium based Warriors captain, Knowledge Musona is on the road to recovery after suffering an ankle injury last month.
Warriors skipper and KAS Eupen forward, Knowledge Musona has opened up on the ankle injury he suffered during the encounter against Genk on the 6th of last month.
The 30-year-old, who has been out of action ever since took to Twitter to give an update after several inquiries from concerned countrymen, followers and KAS Eupen supporters.
Although he was not clear on the actual time frame, Musona posted on Twitter, “I am currently under treatment. Hope to be back on the pitch soon. Thanks.”
During the match against Genk, Musona was stretchered off the pitch after just 28 minutes and was replaced by Belgian, Jonathan Heris.
The Warriors captain has become an integral part for Benat San Joses charges and has on several times steered them to victory with his trademark long range free kicks.
Meanwhile, Warriors defender Alec Mudimu has made a perfect start to life in Turkey after he was named in the Turkish FF1 team of the week in only his second start for Ankaraspor FC.
The 25-year-old defender joined the Turkish second tier side from Moldovan champions Sheriff Tiraspol last month.
It was a perfect week for the Warriors central defence, with Mudimus partner, Teenage Hadebe making into the Turkish Super League best eleven after a starring role in Yeni Malatyaspors goalless draw against Faith Karagumruk.
