FORMER Mighty Warriors coach, Shadreck Mlauzi who took Zimbabwe to the Rio Olympics in 2016 has turned to sports research, with the gaffer having already written two books.
After his unceremonious departure, former Mighty Warriors Coach, Shadreck Mlauzi has embarked on a solo journey, investing his energy in sports research.
The respected coach has already penned two publications titled: “Anima in Corpore” – which means “a health body, a health mind” and Advanced Fundamentals of Physical Education and Sports Science.
“Look I have not been hiding, actually I have been busy writing more about sports education. As you know I was a physical education teacher, I have been investing a lot of my time on sports research,” said Mlauzi.
A teacher by profession, Mlauzi led the Mighty Warriors to the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics in Brazil before his relationship with the then ZIFA executive led by businessman Philip Chiyangwa turned sour.
The Mighty Warriors are the only Zimbabwean football team which has been to the Olympics.
