ZIMBABWE’S Ambassador to Sweden, Her Excellency Priscilla Misihairambwi-Mushonga has challenged women to take up positions in the legal fraternity.

Ambassador Misihairambwi Mushonga, who this Wednesday registered as a legal Practitioner at the High Court in Harare, took the opportunity to encourage women to rise to the occasion and occupy their space in the legal fraternity.

“I am very excited today and this means that nothing can stop a woman to chase her goals. I want to challenge young women to rise up and occupy the space in the legal fraternity. But at the moment I am not going to represent since I am still on another assignment as an ambassador but for me registration as a legal practitioner is a positive development in the legal fraternity as i will be able to assist those who want help,” said Ambassador Misihairambwi-Mushonga.

Among the 14 who registered as lawyers this Wednesday, seven are female.
