Mighty warriors expected in camp today

THE Mighty Warriors are expected to go into camp this afternoon ahead of the last qualifying round for the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations against Botswana.
The mighty Warriors are expected to go into camp in Harare this Wednesday as they start preparing for the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON) final round of qualifiers.
Sithethelelwe Sibanda’s charges will host Botswana in the first leg on the 18th of this month at the National Sports Stadium before travelling to Francistown for the second leg five days later.
Sibanda named a 30-member provisional squad with twenty-six home-based players expected to report for duty first while the remaining four foreign-based stars will join the team on the 14th of this month.
The winner over two legs will qualify for the women’s continental showpiece pencilled for Morocco in July.
Teams that will reach the semi-finals of the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations will book a place at the 2023 FIFA women’s world Cup.
