Chief Coordinator for the National COVID-19 Response in the Office of the President and Cabinet, Dr Agnes Mahomva spoke on the unfortunate negligence being exhibited by some members of the public.
It is sad how people have decided to disregard the safety standards meant to help them stay safe and the end result will either be the closure of the market place, she said.
Experts are convinced that the battle against COVID-19 which has seen the country making great strides through the mass vaccination programme can only be won if every citizen plays a part.
