Mash Central urged to adhere to lockdown regulations

Various provinces are leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that they curb the spread of Covid-19 with the private sector also coming on board in Mashonaland Central.
As Covid 19 cases continue to rise, the people of Mashonaland Central have been urged to strictly adhere to the lockdown regulations stipulated by government.

The call was made by Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and devolution in Mashonaland Central Cde Monica Mavhunga when she received 500 litres of disinfectants from a local gold milling company, Timsite.
‘…we are grateful for this donation which will help in the fight against Covid 19. To the people of Mashonaland Central I urge you to continue observing the lockdown. Cases are increasing to 11 and there are 2 deaths now so stating indoors and social distancing when outdoors is the only way we can fight this disease,’ said Monica Mavhunga Minister of State for Provincial Affairs in Mashonaland Central .
Timsite Manager, Edmore Tapera said the fight against Covid 19 should not be left to government alone.
‘…this is our donation to help mitigate Covid 19. We are in this fight together,’ said Edmore Tapera Timsite Manager.
Other companies have been challenged to also partner government and development partners in mitigating the spread of Covid 19 which has negatively affected the social and economic wellbeing of most countries.
