Warriors midfielder, Kudakwashe Mahachi rediscovered his goal scoring touch as Supersport United drew one-all with Baroka in the DSTV premiership this Saturday.
Supersport started the match slowly as Baroka went close to grabbing an early lead, but Mantsantsantsa got the breakthrough after seven minutes thanks to Mahachi’s close range finish.
This was Mahachi’s second goal of the season after playing as a left-back for the second week running at the expense of compatriot Onismor Bhasera.
The visitors were rewarded with 13 minutes left on the clock through Richard Mbulu’s deflected effort which left goalkeeper, Marvin Pule with no chance.
Kaitano Tembo’s men eventually settled for a share of the spoils which extends their winless run to 10 matches.
Elsewhere, Limpopo sides Black leopards and Tshakuma clashed in a relegation battle and it was Ovidy Karuru’s Leopards who claimed three points after a 2-1 win over Washington Arubi’s Tshakuma.
The two teams need nothing short of a miracle to escape relegation with four matches to go before the end of the season.
In the English championship, Admiral Muskwe’s relegation threatened Wycombe Wanderers beat Jordan Zemura’s Bournemouth one-nil.
