Lock and King storm into Launceston challenger final

ZIMBABWE Davis Cup player Benjamin Lock and his United States partner, Evian King stormed into the final of the Launceston challenger following a super tie break win. Benjamin Lock and Evian King reasserted their credentials at the Launceston challenger in Australia after storming into the finals following a gruelling semi-final encounter against Australia’s pair of Jacob Grills and Calum Puttergill.
Lock and King had a slow start to the match after losing the first set 6-3. The Zimbabwe and United States duo would however up their game in the second set by winning 6-2.
In the super tie-break, Lock and King held their nerve to win 10-6 and progress to the final of the Launceston challenger.
Competing in challenger events will be sweet music to the ears to Zim Davis Cup non-playing captain Gwinyai Tongoona as Zimbabwe brace up for a Davis Cup tie against Syria next month
