Khama Billiat joins Yadah

Story by Anashe Murombedzi, Sports Reporter

FORMER Warriors Midfielder Khama Billiat has finally found a new home after sealing a deal with ambitious Premier Soccer League side Yadah.
The Harare-based club is expected to officially unveil the player in Harare this Thursday.

Billiat arrived in the country Tuesday evening, with the 33-year-old midfielder set to rekindle his fading career at the Miracle Boys.

Dynamos, Ngezi Platinum, Manica Diamonds and CAPS United were also chasing the signature of the former Warriors midfielder, but Yadah impressed him with a better offer.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs star has been club-less since his eventful exit from the Soweto giants eight months ago.

Yadah Chairperson Everson Chatambudza confirmed the deal in a telephone interview, revealing that Billiat will be unveiled at a function set for Harare this Thursday.

Billiat had a short stint with Harare giants CAPS United under head coach Lloyd Chitembwe in 2010 before migrating to South Africa to join Ajax Cape Town.
