WATCH: Local horticultural firms seek new markets at Berlin Fruit Logistica

THE Zimbabwean delegation made up of 25 local agricultural firms is targeting to surpass last year’s business figures at the 2022 Berlin Fruit Logistica.ijn
The Berlin Fruit Logistica attracts thousands of companies in horticulture and heavy machinery manufacturers in the agricultural sector.

Twenty-five local firms are participating at this year’s event, with ZimTrade Director Operations, Mr Similo Nkala expressing optimism regarding expected outcomes at the mega event.


Zimbabwe Horticultural Development Council Chief Executive Officer, Ms Linda Nielsen is confident the Berlin Fruit Logistica will open new markets for local horticultural produce.


Zimbabwe has a thriving horticultural sector, whose products have a ready market in Europe and Asia.

The Berlin Fruit Logistica is also an opportunity for companies to witness how technology is harnessed to redefine the fruit and vegetable supply chain.
