THE Victoria Falls Carnival which brings the world to Zimbabwe comes alive this Friday with local artists promising fireworks at the festival.

Returning to rock the resort city for three days, the Victoria Falls Carnival brings a competitive line-up of all genres and surprise guests for fans to enjoy.

The carnival brings in some of the best headliners and undercards in music, with local artists looking forward to unforgettable performances.

Dancehall sensation Carrington Simbarashe Chiwadzwa better known as Nutty O is part of the line-up.

“This is the first time for me performing at the carnival and i often hear of how it is for other artists who would have performed in the past, the exposure to both local and mostly international tourists and me being part of this magnificent lineup is an honour. The pressure is now on me to ensure my fans enjoy my performance and I’m looking forward to raising the mustard seed album and of course the popular Handipere Power Song,” said Nutty O.

With her Album “A Girl from Harare” doing well on the local charts and a looming countrywide tour dubbed “Gemma Griffiths and Her Friends” starting in May this year, the talented singer is promising to wow the crowd with live drums and passionate singing.

“I’m looking forward to meeting new friends through music and I know it’s going to be a beautiful weekend as it always is but this year it’s going to be exceptional as this is one of the biggest shows that I will be performing in front of international party lovers after such a long time, so yah I’m looking forward to it,” said Gemma.

The Victoria Falls Carnival comes at a time the world is returning to normalcy after a stand still due to Covid-19 that affected the entire globe, with people set to gather once more to enjoy the festival, in its best form, a magical moment which makes space for love, laughter and celebration through music.
