ZIFA Southern Region Division One log leaders, Hwange FC are not worried by their recent loss of form that saw them having their lead at the top of the log being trimmed to three points from nine.
Action continues in the ZIFA Division one leagues this weekend with Hwange Coach, Edmore “MaMkhwebu,” Sibanda not moved by calls for him to step down following recent losses by his team.
Ahead of their clash against Binga Pirates at the Colliery this Saturday, Chipangano are top of the Southern Region division One log with 48 points, three above second placed Arenel on 45 points.
“We are not worried about the points we have lost. The other teams also have a chance to lose games. All we want is to win our games and we don’t care what people say,” he said.
In some of the fixtures lined up for this Saturday in the Southern region, Quality Foods will play Ciwu at White City B-arena, Indlovu Iyanyathela will come up against Makhandeni at Luveve B Arena.
Second placed ZPC Hwange take on fourth placed Talen Vision at Inngagula, while Bosso 90 will battle it out with Mountain Climbers at Luveve Stadium.
Elsewhere in the Northern Region, Herentals under 20 have a date with Cuma at Rimuka ground this weekend hoping to win and remain top of the log.
The Young Students have 46 points, three clear of ambitious side, Simba Bhora who play Trojan Stars this Saturday.
In other matches, Harare City Cubs will play against Cam and Motor, Commando Bullets clash with Chinhoyi stars, Chegutu Pirates lock horns with Black Mambas and Karoi United takes on Golden Valley.
In the Eastern Region, ProMelfort date Ruwa ProGroup, Buffaloes play Manica Diamonds Juniors, while JM Busha 54 tussle FC Wangu Mazodze.
Zaka Academy clash against high flying Green fuel, Chiredzi Stars tackle Lowveld United, Mutare City clash with Grayham, with last match of the day pitting Surrey and Renco.
