The local film industry continues to grow, with rising and renowned film producers coming up with powerful narratives that mirror the Zimbabwean society.

One such film is a Mac T Mandisoul production, House of Stone, which tackles issues surrounding inheritance, corruption and organised crime.

“Inheritance is a big issue in our society. In this film, it results in crime, corruption and a whole lot of drama. I’m glad that our film industry is showing signs of growth. It is now becoming a force to reckon with in showbiz. It is the future of showbiz. With the success of Gonarezhou and Shaina, we are on the right direction,” said film Producer Mac T Mandisoul.

House of Stone which features stars like Erin Sticken, Bianca Mapfumo and Ngoni Vere, is set to premiere at Ster Kinekor this Friday, and on ZBC TV on the 27th of this month.

Mandisoul is well known for films like State of Malambia, City of dreams and Zambezi, among others.
