THE MINISTER of Health and Child Care, Dr Obediah Moyo visited Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals in the Harare this Tuesday to meet volunteer nurses who have pledged to offer services during this festive holiday.
Addressing journalists during the visit, Dr Moyo expressed gratitude to volunteer nurses for their kind gesture.
Director of Zimbabwe Young Nurses, Mr Tafadzwa Jackson encouraged nurses to have the spirit of saving lives.
One of the volunteers, Dumisani Majongwe said during the festive holidays there is a need for more man power which is why they offered their services on a voluntary basis.
Also present was the Chief Executive Officer for Harare Central Hospital, Dr Tinashe Dhobbie who said operations at the country’s hospitals are back to normal as most juniors doctors are reporting for duty.
