HARARE giants, Dynamos are targeting a league and cup double after the draw of the Chibuku Super Cup was conducted this Tuesday.
The Glamour Boys are looking more like their old selves this season after some good results.
Although they had a mini-slump in recent weeks, Dynamos have managed to arrest the slide in an emphatic fashion after dismantling fellow title aspirants, Chicken Inn 3-nil at Luveve stadium last weekend.
The glamour boys have since made it clear that they are battling for honours on two fronts after the draw of the Chibuku Super Cup first round where Dynamos will face the winner of the preliminary round tie between Cr.orne Bullets and Whawha. .
“We have a good enough squad to challenge on both fronts and we definitely want to win both competitions and as Dynamos we are ready,” said Webster Marechera, Dynamos Secretary General.
Dynamos also have special praise for their Bulawayo supporters.
“The Bulawayo supporters turned up in their numbers and pushed the team and the result was there for everyone to see and we also urge the Harare chapter to also emulate that and support the team,” said Marechera.
The Glamour Boys are preparing to take on Bulawayo Chiefs on Sunday in a league match before they shift their focus to the Chibuku Super Cup.
