Hadebe ends season in style

TURKEY based, Warriors central defender, Teenage Hadebe ended the season on a high after helping his side survive relegation on the last day of the campaign.
As the curtain came down on the 2020/21 Turkish top-flight league season this Tuesday, Zimbabwe international, Teenage Hadebe ended his season in style with an assist as Yeni Malatyaspor gained a valuable point in a one all stalemate with Hatayspor .
The point saw Malatyaspor surviving relegation on the last day of the season, thanks to Hadebe’s assist which comes barely a week after the Warriors towering defender scored his second goal of the season before being named in the Turkish Super Lig team of the week.
In another development, Warriors captain Knowledge Musona’s future with Anderlecht remains uncertain after the end of his loan spell at Belgian Pro League outfit, KAS Eupen.
Should Anderlecht coach, Vincent Kompany omit the Zimbabwean from his squad, Musona is highly likely to return to Eupen after the Warriors Captain expressed his desire to extend his loan spell.
In England, Zimbabwean Tawanda Maswanhise broke into English Premier League side, Leicester City’s senior team, after the 18-year-old was named in the match day squad in his team’s 2-1 win over Manchester United this Tuesday.
The midfielder was born in England to Zimbabwean parents.
It is, however not looking good for Zimbabwe central defender, Alec Mudimu, whose Turkish second tier club, Ankaraspor are facing the prospect of relegation.
