Grade Seven marking well on course – ZIMSEC

The Zimbabwe Schools Examination Council (ZIMSEC) has allayed fears that the marking of the Grade Seven examinations could have been affected by the national lockdown.

ZIMSEC Public Relations Manager, Ms Nicholette Dhlamini confirmed to ZBC News this Wednesday that the marking is progressing well, with the examination body putting all measures to ensure the process in completed within set deadlines.

“The examination marking programme is progressing well and we are expecting the results to be out by end of this month,” she said.

While schools are closed for non-examination classes as the country battles to contain COVID-19, there is only hope for learners who sat for the 2020 ZIMSEC examinations that by the time schools open, they will be able to proceed to the next level.
