Local gospel musician, Tatenda Mahachi continues to cast his net wider by collaborating with international artists, the latest being American gospel giant, Isaac Simpsons.

The youthful Mahachi, who once collaborated with another gospel luminary, the late Sifiso Ncwane of South Africa, speaks on his new collaboration with Simpsons, which reminds people of God’s love, despite challenges faced in 2020.

“The song is called ‘He cares for you’. Simpsons and I met in 2016 through Sfiso Ncwane and that’s when we started working on the song. It is a dancehall track which talks of God’s love even during trying times. The song was produced by Macdee and it is available on all digital platforms.”

The track, ‘He Cares for You’ which is on a house note, was adapted from a local popular Chorus ‘Ane Hanya Nesu’.

Mahachi once collaborated with the late superstar, Dr Oliver Mtukudzi on his 2017 track titled Ndisiye.
