Freedom fighters urged to document the struggle

THE ruling Zanu PF party has commended the launch of President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s biography citing its significance in preserving history and setting the tone for heroes celebrations.

The biography titled “A life of Sacrifice” which chronicles President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s journey through the liberation struggle and his ascendancy, has been met with overwhelming response by the business community and religious circles among the broader population.

Zanu PF National Spokesperson Ambassador Simon Khaya Moyo has congratulated the President for the milestone which comes in a period of honoring living and departed heroes.

“The biography a life of sacrifice is a perfect honor to mark the heroes’ celebration next week. The revolutionary party welcomes this timely intervention with jubilation and revolutionary zeal as it depicts life of a man of impeccable liberation credentials a life of courage perseverance and a man of destiny,” he said.

Ambassador Khaya Moyo urged cadres to take a leaf from the President to ensure liberation history is documented and undiluted for future generations.

“Let every patriot have access to this book and enjoy the contents as we attest for more biographies to be written about our liberation stalwarts, time is not on our side if true liberation history is to be written.”

The biography authored by economist Eddie Cross sold more than 50 thousand copies on its launch on Thursday.
